Psychotherapy is a form of in depth talking therapy where we explore patterns of behaviours and ways of relating to others which may be deeply rooted in previous experiences or memories. Exploring these patterns can help us to understand our internal world, and to see how this may be impacting on our current day to day lives.

Gaining insight into these patterns opens up possibilities for change. It can equip us to face future challenges with greater confidence, based on a more authentic sense of self.
Psychotherapy provides a space for us to think together about what is troubling you. I do not give advice, but listen in a non-judgemental, confidential environment which allows you to explore your thoughts and feelings.

Some people come to therapy with a specific issue to discuss. Other people are less sure of their reason for coming to therapy, but feel that life has become difficult or confusing and would like a space to work through this. For this reason, therapy may continue for varying lengths of time.
I offer individual one to one sessions to adults.
Psychotherapy sessions last for 50 minutes, and take place at the same time and place each week.
