I have a wealth of experience working psychotherapeutically with people with a wide range of psychological and emotional needs; both in the NHS and in private practice. I also have experience of working in NGO’s and the charity sector.
My former career was as a musician and arts administrator, where I had a strong interest in the emotional connections that we make together through music.
This interest led me studying for a Master’s degree in Music Therapy at Anglia Ruskin University, and I have been working as a psychodynamically oriented music therapist for over 10 years.
I trained as a Jungian Analyst at The Society of Analytical Psychology (SAP) in London, working intensively with people on a 4-5 times weekly basis. The SAP is a founding member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), and is internationally recognised as one of the leading training institutions in Jungian Psychology.
I’m also an Associate Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University where I work with groups, and I have a special interest in working with Social Dreaming Matrixes.
I offer supervision to therapists working across a broad range of clinical areas, including consultation for work taking place in International Non-Governmental Organisation’s.
I am registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (registration number 22505) and the Health and Care Professions Council (registration number AS13638). I am a member of The International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP).
As a member of the BPC and HCPC I follow strict ethical codes and professional standards of practice. This includes protecting your data and confidentiality in line with current GDPR legislation.
